TouchWrite Mobile enPut Suite is a set of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) specially designed for revolutionizing mobile handset input applications with TouchWrite's patent pending Contextual Binding technologies. In addition to all those standard mobile input features and functions, enPut key benefits include:

enPut powers all human language input modalities, including:

enPut is configurable. It has three common profiles, targeting different market segments:

1. enPut Lite

Packaged to give low-cost phones with limited CPU/memory budget an attractive alternative comparable with Tegic T9, Motorola iTAP, or Zi eZiText (customer selectable);
2. enPut Std

Packaged to provide mainstream feature phones a feature-rich next-generation input method;

3. enPut Pro

Packaged to enable cutting-edge new features and functions such as Voice Recognition interactive input and Alternative Tactile input;

enPut is the third generation invention of Dr. Jin Guo, TouchWrite CTO. In early 1990s when teaching at Tsinghua University, Dr. Guo co-invented (China patent application No. 94103482) the world-first sentential phonetic alphabet input method and led the development of an award-winning PC input product. In the late 1990s when with Motorola, Dr. Guo developed the world-first mobile phone predictive text input product now widely known as Motorola iTAP shipping in more than 100 million phones. As a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Motorola, Dr. Guo contributed at least 13 iTAP patents, more than 70% of the entire iTAP patent portfolio. Knowing computer and mobile phone input from inside out, Dr. Guo co-founded TouchWrite in 2003 heading for inventing the future. Since then Dr. Guo has been filing a series of enPut patent applications.

enPut is a new technology. "iTAP, T9 and Zi were nurtured more than 8 years ago when no mobile phone had a 4-way navigation button." recalls Dr. Guo, "Today messaging is the second largest revenue source and many mobile phones are more powerful than some PCs 8 years ago. enPut is 100% IP clean. TouchWrite has carefully reviewed all publicly accessible input related patents from Motorola, AOL/Tegic and Zi Corp. and concluded that enPut does not infringe any known IPR. The primary reasons are two: enPut shines at contextual binding, a new invention unavailable to the old technologies and enPut follows standards, mostly formed after the development of the old technologies.
